Specializing in both traditional and whole-person treatment methods, Dr. Mary Margaret O’Neil focuses on overall wellness and improved quality of life for her patients. While medications and traditional treatments are absolutely appropriate in many cases, she is the only rheumatologist in Western New York that is licensed in acupuncture, and offers diet management and massage as additional treatment options.

Dr. O’Neil’s practice is centered around the belief that from arrival to departure, all patients are entitled to a comfortable, efficient and positive treatment experience.

Infusions - Infusion therapy is available for patients who can receive intravenous medications to prevent damage to bone and joints.

Acupuncture - Acupuncture is frequently promoted for rheumatic conditions. It's a non-pharmacologic alternative recommended for knee osteoarthritis.

Injections - Joint injections may decrease the accumulation of fluid and cells in the joint and may temporarily decrease pain and stiffness.

Ultrasound - Ultrasound guided injections allows for detection of join involvement increasingly used by rheumatologists to guide musculoskeletal interventions.
